Through my own personal journey towards growth and healing, I have learned the true power that a sense of belonging and connection – both internal and external – can have on one’s quality of life. The true power that learning to be a compassionate friend to yourself and listening to the voice within can have on opening us up to our deepest potential as human beings. The true power and strength that having a safe space and a listening ear can give in creating a life of balance and authenticity.
I feel that it is a deep privilege to help others on their road to discovery and healing. With an atmosphere of curiosity, compassion, and humor, we will work collaboratively as you learn to deepen your connection to your mind, body, heart, and soul. In my work as a therapist, I am passionate about helping you recognize and capture internal peace, despite external circumstances.
While earning my Masters of Arts in Psychology at Phillips Graduate University and during my time as a therapist since, I have worked extensively with individuals of all ages. I have had the opportunity of working in various settings, including multiple counseling centers, an LAUSD elementary school, and private practice. I recognize the impact that a safe and empathetic environment can have towards finding personal joy and connection as we move through the world.
I utilize a trauma-informed philosophy alongside my training in mindfulness, the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Neurobiology to assist clients in identifying their strengths and resources while tapping into newfound inner resilience and expanding their toolbox. I recognize the significance of paying attention to the mind/body connection, and the dramatic impact this can have on finding inner peace and creating the life you desire.
