Young Adults
Who am I? What makes me happy? What is the “right” path for me? When will I meet the “right” partner? Navigating life transitions can be tough! As we emerge more and more into our adulthood, these ruminating questions can leave us feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, and stuck.
Therapy for young, emerging adults can help to address the unique and vulnerable challenges and opportunities faced during this transformative stage of life. This period, typically spanning the late teens to late twenties, is marked by significant milestones such as starting college or a career, forming adult relationships, and exploring personal identity. With these changes often comes uncertainty, stress, and emotional turbulence.
Through giving yourself the gift of a safe space, you can learn to navigate the overwhelm and uncertainty of aging from a space of peace and calm. It is my belief that when we pause and take time to reconnect inwardly, we gain a sense of control over our life – leading to empowerment, joy, resilience and acceptance.
